Had a pleasant stay at Acacia Hotel Bacolod. The location is very convenient—easy access from the jetty port and close to a nearby mall. Rooms are clean. The pools are great, especially the child-friendly wave pool (up to 4 feet) and the still pool, which our family really enjoyed. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff are very helpful and accommodating. The food is good overall, though the buffet breakfast has limited choices. Still, a nice and comfortable place to stay in Bacolod.

Spacious and quiet room.
Strong water pressure! 👌👌👌
There’s a water station along the corridor so it’s convenient to refill our flasks.
It’s not near Lacson St., where most of the restaurants and cafes are located. It’s near SM, but who would go there on a vacation?
It’s near Gina’s tho. You can walk or ride a tricycle going there

We stayed here for two nights. It's on the edge of the city in a nice and quiet compound within a short walking distance to the SM City Bacolod, about half an hour from the Bacolod airport. So the location is great.
The rooms are nice and clean and both the rooms and bathrooms are of good size. Internet can be a little finnicky. But the main reason for four stars instead of five are the in-wall AC units in all the rooms. We had three rooms, and the AC units were so loud when turned on. One of our party checked out a day early and moved to a different hotel because she couldn't sleep, and I had to wear noise cancelling earphones all night in order to sleep through the noise. The AC units also don't get super cold but it's cold enough (and also the hot water in the shower doesn't get super hot but it was hot enough).
However, that is my only complaint about the hotel. We did have all our keycards deactivate after being gone all day, but the front desk was very quick to resolve that. All the staff have been so helpful and kind. So if you are able to sleep through loud noises or are able to do without running the AC, then this hotel is great.
Lastly, the breakfast buffet was very good. It was different food both mornings we ate there, and it was a good selection that tasted great. They also had a made to order omlette station that was very nice.
Overall, it's a great place to stay. Just be aware of the AC noise issue.
