Fancy but worth it! First time visiting Tagaytay and dining here, and we’re thankful our relative suggested this place. Everything she ordered was great: bulalo, kare kare, crispy pata, bangus, puto bumbong, etc. Add to it the good view of the lake, and you’re all set for a great family get-together. We still have to open that cookies and cream flavored lengua de gato! 😋

Balay Dako nails Filipino comfort classics while serving you front-row views of Taal Lake. I love that they also have a deli—great for take-home goodies, fresh pastries, and pasalubong. Portions are incredibly generous (come hungry!), the ambiance suits families, groups, and date nights alike, and the value feels spot-on for the quality. I’d happily come back and bring loved ones. Highly recommended! 🔥🔥

Delicious food. Can get crowded. Pricey but worth the food. Has a small bakery with delicious pastries cookies bread my. Excellent service. Good to get a reservation. Struggled with their reservation app. Staff were friendly and us in quick since it was just my bakey and I.
