My family loved our stay at the Bohol bee farm! It’s a bit farther from the main tourist area of Alona Beach, but it made our stay more relaxing that way.

The rooms were extraordinarily clean and the beds were very comfortable. We loved the free breakfast every morning and the ability to grab a scoop of their famous ice cream everyday. The restaurant truly has some of the best food on the island! We were happy to eat multiple meals there.

The staff was so kind and accommodating. We had an excursion planned for early in the morning and they packed breakfast for all of us! If we ever wanted to explore the Alona Beach, area the staff helped us arrange transportation to and from our destinations. We also booked multiple massages over the course of our stay. The massage area facing the water was a wonderful place to unwind.

We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if we are ever back in Bohol!

We were really excited to visit this place after seeing all the beautiful photos and videos online. It took a bit of a drive off the main road to get there, but once we arrived, we were impressed by how big the place is. There’s plenty of parking, which was great.

The property itself is huge. You can walk around or join one of their guided tours. The tours cost 80 pesos per person and run on specific hours, something like 9 AM to 1 PM and 2 PM to 3 PM, so it’s good to check the schedule before you go in case you are interested.

We tried their ice cream, which was 90 pesos per scoop. The flavors are a bit different from the usual. I had the salted honey, and their cassava cone was definitely interesting. Not for everyone maybe, but worth trying at least once.

We almost had a meal at the restaurant, but the dining area could use a bit of an update. The furniture looked quite old, and when I went to pull out a chair, I noticed there were a lot of ants on it. That kind of turned us off, so we decided not to eat there.

The dining area closer to the beach or with better beach view is closed.

Overall, it’s a decent place to visit if you’re in the area especiallt for the tour or to try something unique like the ice cream. With a few improvements, especially to the dining area, it could be even better.

So good we had to visit twice! The Bohol Bee Farm is definitely worth the visit, it’s an experience beyond just a lunch spot. With that being said, the food is amazing, and their Coconut Coffee is unmatched!
