¡Azúcar! Celebrating Celia’s 100th Birthday is the latest exhibit at the Coral Gables Museum, honoring Celia’s trajectory and life. The museum is cozy and transmits a historic vibe, being set in the old firehouse station, and features a charming patio perfect for enjoying a refreshing afternoon or a starry night. I just missed adding the 5th star just because I think the ticket entrance might be too much for the size of the venue and exhibits.
The exhibit is beautifully curated and full of life, it truly immerses you in her journey and fills you with the energy of her achievements. It’s inspiring to see Celia throughout all her phases, uplifting your spirit and reminding you of the incredible, adventurous experiences life can bring.
I really appreciate when institutions pay homage to true Latin icons with all the glory that a symbol of Latin music and culture deserves. Even though the exhibit is small, it’s a joyful little capsule of azúcar that reminds you that life is a carnival of happiness. La Reina Celia will always live on through us, every time we dance to her rhythms and step into her world.
Coral Gables Museum, keep nourishing our spirit with exhibits like this.

Very beautiful small museum in coral gables. Has about 10 rooms with art work. I was one of about 3 people there and it was a Sunday so it was not crowded at all. The staff are very nice. The entrance is $10 and when I left they asked if I could do a survey on my experience. The outside also has a staircase you can go up and see all of the buildings. Parking is on the side of the road, there's no parking lot.

Nice museum. Great location. The staff is outstanding. They have a few exhibit rooms, so if one is under construction the museum is a little light. We were in and out in 15 minutes, which is the only reason to drop a few stars. But if you are in the neighborhood it’s worth a visit. I think they have events there which would be a great venue.
