What a lovely stay at Coron Soleil. First off, The staff go above and beyond and are so very kind and helpful. The beds were extremely comfortable, on the softer side which was excellent for us needing to catch up after our long flight from Canada. The breakfast buffet changes everyday slightly so you do get some new options and it’s a good mix of western food and Filipino food. We had an omelette everyday, made to order which was just delightful.
The pool is also quite nice. It rained most of our trip but we got to use it the last day. We got stuck here after the typhoon when our ferry was cancelled. They were kind enough to offer us our room back when we returned.
The hotel itself is probably a 20-25 min walk to the restaurants downtown. But there are many tricycles around and it only costs about 30 pesos per person to get to the city centre.

Overall – Fantastic hotel. If you’re in Coron look no further!

Experiences vary. We love our stay, staff and crew all amazing, polite and gave great customer service experience! All requests were accommodated with smiles and warm tone even on the phone.

I would def go back here with the fam.

Breakfast options not bad, enough to fill you up if you don't expect too much.

Great poool!! Love that they have deeper areas, good if you love swimming.

What they say about comfy beds is completely true!! Husband and I had the best sleep we had while on vacation.

Great flooring not cold to the feet, so okay if they don't provide free slippers.

No personal coffee and kettle in rooms, only public water dispenser.

A bit of a walk to town proper but trikes wait outside for 60php per head. Riding on trikes on the road costs 30php, those that wait cost more.

    Near 24hrs mcdonalds

Great receptionists, can't say more. They did well with their jobs even with complicated requests and concerns 🤭

There were lots of Noise Outside the rooms so that's something to improve on, even cats get inside the halls bc left over food on plates from rooms takes too long to be disposed

Wifi connection isn't the best in rooms, you need to get to their restaurant or lobby to get a good signal, they only give vouchers for wifi that last for a good amount of time before expiring then you need to enter a new voucher again. Not good for online work.

Hot and cold both shower and sink

    We was in room 215.

The bathroom window should be frosted finish, so no one can look in at all. We asked on arrival for someone to show us how to activate the safe, no one followed our request up ( kept saying error ). The wardrobe doors were very sqeeky/ noisy. There are exposed wires on the balcony of our apartment. On the frame of the balcony door there's some poorly finished touch up work with the use of cardboard and celetape. And lastly, we was never able to lock out balcony sliding doors so they were open for our entire stay ( especially whilst we slept).

The breakfast we felt was limited, Luke warm at best for most of the food. The only high was the soups that were hot, the chef cooking the omelette's/eggs etc and the friendly staff including the phone call we received at 09.25 to kindly check we didn't miss out on breakfast.

The room appearance was clean and plescent, beds we're comfy and bathroom layout was nice on the eye with a nice shower temperature and all.
View from balcony was very nice and so was the food, never busy.

The tv channels were limited, but also half the channels picture quality was very very grainy indeed, very poor for our entire stay.

Location of hotel was great… Easy access to the shops and nightlife whilst not being on the main road and noise. Very peaceful stay.

Only two towels, so quite limited especially because of the humidity and heat we showered quite often and towels were still damp from earlier in the day, although in hotels defence we never asked for more and they did change them the next day during room cleaning etc.

Wicker linen bin was a nice touch, as was the shuttle bus to and from the airport to the hotel.

Reception desk was great in calling us a tricycle whenever we went into town.

Poolside poolbar was nice, especially buy one get one between 3-7pm open till 10pm.

All the staff were super friendly, curtious and helpful and we really enjoyed our stay despite what we listed, we only highlighted these concerns so the next people can gave an even better stay at your beautiful hotel. Our room was on the first floor so safely wise wasn't bothered about the balcony door not locking. The food issue should be looked at, however we have small appetite's so we got by.

Sidenote. The option of adjoining rooms is a nice touch for those with family/friends staying.

Great hotel not far at all from the main shops but not too close to have to put up with noise and traffic. All rooms are set well back from the road at any rate.
