Got the room with a jacuzzi, and terrace for 1 night. Very nice and relaxed. Me and the wife loved it. Had a great time. Would stay again. Such an amazing experience. 5:30 kickback is very nice the drinks were great and breakfast was great and delicious . Will recommend to friends and family. Also staff is amazing.

My family loves this hotel! Any Drury hotel always fits in our budget. The breakfast and kickback alone can save so much for a family!
We always hope any city that we travel to has a Drury.
This one by far is the best. We visited the Drury Plaza riverwalk twice in 2025.
Both times we had Justina at check in.
She is absolutely amazing. She makes us feel right at ease and takes care of everything for us.
This last visit on Christmas Eve we met another staff member in the dining area, sadly I saw another guest verbally assault her and I was baffled. Vanessa handled the situation with such grace. She kept up with such a busy crowd as well. Every area was always clean that she kept up with allowing other families to sit down and enjoy their meals.
I also wanted to give credit to Tiffany in housekeeping.
Our room was massive and very clean! She also made sure we got our rollaway and shower chair.
Thank you to all the staff but HUGE thank you to Justina, Tiffany & Vanessa for really standing out with your incredible customer service!

The Drury Plaza hotel is a stunningly gorgeous hotel, especially the lobby and eating area. It is an old 1929 bank and has a huge art deco lobby with golden accents. The eating area is on the 2nd floor balcony which looks down on the expansive lobby. The rooms are accessed by hallways that reminded me of an old office building. Rooms are updated and they are acceptable in size but not huge. Bathrooms & linens were spotlessly clean. (I even commented to the manager about the cleanliness of our room.) Towels were amazing! This hotel has direct access to the Riverwalk by exiting through the first floor. Ticketing area for the boat rides are just a short walk from the hotel. Great location. Breakfast and evening buffets were very crowded as this was Thanksgiving weekend (11/2025) so lots of families. Staff kept up with the demand fairly well. If I returned to San Antonio I would definitely stay again at this hotel.
Caution: Don't confuse with the Drury Inn & Suites which is very nearby and I believe also on the Riverwalk.
