We were here for my son’s hockey tournament and had a great experience at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center. The rinks were clean and well-maintained, and everything felt organized from the moment we walked in. Staff were friendly and helpful, whether we were finding locker rooms or asking where to go next.

The location right on the water is a bonus, between games we could step outside, stretch our legs, and enjoy the view. Concessions were reasonably priced with plenty of options, and the seating gave us a good view of the ice no matter where we sat. Overall, it was a fantastic place to host a tournament and we’d be happy to come back for future events.

It's a very large building so I recommend arriving early to your event so you can get oriented. It's a long walk from one side of DECC to the other. Lake superior is on one side of of the building (east side) where you can see the ships sailing and watch the waves. If you walk along the lake (a little north east) to a metal blue bridge (east end of the ship) you can easily get to Park Point for shopping and sit down restaurants.

All events I've attended were easy to find. Well organized. Plenty of seating. Good parking, there is a fee to park $10. Many different sized convention rooms. Security on site. Some events had concessions.
