    The staff at Shangri-La are top-notch—welcoming, helpful, and quick to respond, even to small requests. I really appreciated them when my son suddenly wasn’t feeling well and almost fainted. The medic arrived in less than 2 minutes, and two doctors and a nurse checked on us right away. Their attentiveness made a stressful situation much easier.

    One area for improvement could be the check-in process. We were asked to go to another floor, and it took over 30 minutes to complete, even though there were only a few people ahead of us. They did provide snacks and a small movie area for kids while we waited, which was thoughtful.

    Overall, the hotel offers excellent service and a comfortable stay, and I would highly recommend it for families 🌸

    Unforgettable Dining Experience at HEAT, EDSA Shangri-La

    We dined at HEAT Restaurant in EDSA Shangri-La Hotel for lunch on December 8, 2025. Our group of friends from our youth in our former church meets every year for a Christmas get-together, and we always choose different hotels for this tradition.

    From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed at the reception with genuine smiles and were promptly escorted to our table. The service provided by Ms. Aileen and Lawrence was exceptionally professional and personalized. Their constant smiles, attentiveness, and willingness to assist made a remarkable difference. As a former hotelier myself, I can confidently say that they are valuable assets to the hospitality industry.

    The food, as always, was top-notch. Clarisse from the noodle soup station prepared a superb laksa for me. Despite being new—just four months into her first job after college—she was very pleasant and professional.

    It is evident that this restaurant is managed very well. The entire team, both service and kitchen, delivered excellent service and maintained high food quality even with the hotel being full due to the Christmas season and a large ongoing conference.

    Congratulations to the whole team for a job well done! Thank you for giving us not just a pleasant meal, but an unforgettable dining experience worth sharing.

    We came here as a pre-wedding treat to ourselves, and once again, Shangri-La exceeded our expectations. From the moment we checked in until we checked out, we were surrounded by genuine smiles, warmth, and exceptional hospitality that made our stay feel truly special.

    Our heartfelt thanks to Ella at the front desk; John and Ram from the Horizon Club; Philip from the bell staff; and the wonderful hotel car drivers who took such great care of us—from airport pickup to driving us around town. Each of you made us feel welcomed, cared for, and celebrated during such a meaningful time in our lives.

    We also thoroughly enjoyed the food at Heat, which added to the overall experience. This stay will always hold a special place in our hearts, and we look forward to returning when we visit Manila next time.
