This (free) historic park is definitely worth a visit! The visitor center was nice and gave a introduction to the area. The walking paths were peaceful and easy to follow, and along the way I got to enjoy an amazing view of the city. A perfect spot to learn a little history, get some fresh air, and take in the scenery!

Visiting Nashville and wanted to check out some history. There was a self guided tour and a short 20 minute film as well. Very nice walk and view

Fort Negley is a self guided tour along a marked path. No charge for the fun located in the Visitor Center either. We carried a group of home schoolers and the Visitor Center helped us with films and some special interactive activities. Donations are welcome. Be generous if you are able. Every staff member we met were all friendly and made us all feel welcomed. Clean restrooms available.
