Ahhh yess the Gateway. Where your hope is Theater 8 whenever you go.

I love this theater, they are always showing the best films. If you aren't apart of their member program, you need to be!

This is the best way to support local cinema, films & meet people who love movies.

Saw Superman. I liked. I hated the Superman from 20 years ago. I will say they should have got Kevin spacey for lex luther I didn’t care for this guy. Also I think they made lex Luther wussy. They should have made him more cocky like Kevin spacey in house cards

09/09/2025 – Met up with one besties to see movie Love, Brooklyn at the Gateway Film Center. Great movie!

08/27/2025 – Went with one of my bestest girlfriend to see an animated movie of Frida Kahlo named “Hola, Frida” at the Gateway Film Center. It was amazing.

11/20/2024 – I revisited the GFC with a girlfriend of mine to watch a screener of Better Man. Truly entertaining and epic. Love the new counter near the entrance at the theaters.

05/31/23 was my first day revisiting GFC since the pandemic. A lot of changes in the lobby area to this movie theater. The new look is modernly tasteful and I give it two thumbs up. Today I saw the movie The Angry Black Girl and Her Monster. Amazing movie.

The Gateway Film Center houses mainstream and international movies. They host business conferences, an OSU class or two, and their movie screeners rock! Sometimes, an actor or other production member of a movie may do a cameo at the center. Also, they provide display of art work from numerous artists relating to movie themes. Decent prices, comfortable seating, decent prices from their concession. Parking garage available just walking distance from the center.
