My family and I stayed at the Hotel Abrego recently and our stay was amazing! The employees were hospitable and friendly, the rooms were clean and cozy, and the hotel was located in a nice part of Monterey. We experienced an issue with our fireplace in the room during our stay, however the hotel’s assistant manager Marquis and the head manager both worked to ensure we were accompanied for our inconvenience! The staff and management went above and beyond to ensure we truly enjoyed our stay. My family and I would definitely stay at this hotel again. As well as, we would recommend Hotel Abrego to our family and friends!

Loved the location and was pleasantly surprised by the generously sized rooms. Not top-of-the-line modern, but very well maintained and cozy. The fireplace in the room was an unexpected bonus! Slept great—it was very quiet. The beds were comfy, and the bedding was crisp. Perfectly located near downtown, restaurants, and coffee shops where you can walk to.

This is a great place to stay if you are visiting or you have friends in town. It is a little pricey but that is Monterey. If you compare it to other hotels, I would say there is more value. The breakfast is pretty good for what it is worth. There is a hot tub you can enjoy, it's pretty cold here so idk if you want to get into the pool. The Hotel is extremely clean and the staff is friendly! I have been here multiple times, it is my go to.
