- 5.0/5:
Kokura Station is beautiful and well-structured stations I’ve visited in Japan. The layout is clear and not confusing at all, making it very easy to navigate. It offers super convenient access to the Shinkansen, JR lines, and even the monorail—all directly connected.
Just outside the station, there’s an amazing market area with countless shopping options, cafés, restaurants, and department stores. Whether you want to shop, eat, or just explore, everything is right at your doorstep.
The station is clean, well-maintained, and has a great atmosphere. Overall, a perfect combination of convenience, comfort, and great surroundings.
Visited in December so christmas decoration was everywhere making it more beautiful.
