Such an amazing place — a must-visit when you come to Hawaii! I highly recommend trying the UTV tour.
Next time, I really want to go horseback riding. After seeing so many horses in person, I really wanted to ride, but it was fully booked.
You definitely need to book this place in advance.
The scenery is stunning — it feels like dinosaurs could appear at any moment, with beautiful mountains and ocean views.
The UTV guides were so fun and friendly!

This historic ranch is nestled in the lush green mountains on the northern part of the Island. There is free car parking available here, while they also have paid shuttles for pick up from Waikiki beach area. The landscape around this area is truly magical and provides a surreal feeling. We took the 90 minute long Hollywood Movie Set tour. The tour was carried out on a modified open air truck with comfortable seats and seat belts. The boarding process was smooth and the truck driver was also the tour guide. He was very nice and kept the mood light, although at times it was difficult to understand his accent through the microphone. The guide was very knowledgeable and gave a lot of information on each topic. The tour took us through a World War 2 Bunker that has now been converted into a museum with some artifacts from that era and mostly with posters and props from various movies and TV shows that have been shot here. The stop at the Museum was 10 minutes. After that the tour moved through the farm land with both agricultural and livestock commodities. After that we passed through various filming locations where the vehicle does not stop but slows down and you hear commentary. The final stop comes at the set with plenty of replica bones and skull heads of King Kong movie on display. The stop here is again for 10 minutes. The tour takes different paths on the way out and back so a lot of beautiful scenery to be seen. Overall highly recommend this tour if you are into Holly movies and TV shows.

We did a horseback riding tour with Jill! She was phenomenal! Super friendly, explained everything and gave great information on the island, history and the ranch! My husband rode Moose and I rode Scotty. Both were very safe and easy to ride. The horses are well cared for and well fed. As a fellow equestrian I was happy to see them in such good shape! The views on our tour were breathtaking. I think this is a great tour to do for anyone.
