⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Must-Visit Cultural Treasure in Iloilo!
Museo Iloilo is an absolute gem and a must-see when visiting Iloilo City. As the first regional museum outside Manila, it beautifully showcases the rich history and culture of Western Visayas. The collection is impressive with over 300 artifacts including ancient pottery, fossils, Spanish-era religious art, traditional textiles, and works by local artists.
The exhibits are well-curated and take you on a fascinating journey from prehistoric times through the Spanish colonial period to modern day. The museum building itself is architecturally interesting with its modernist design. Everything is well-maintained and air-conditioned, making it comfortable to explore.
What I loved most was how affordable it is – truly accessible to everyone. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Whether you're a history buff or just curious about Ilonggo culture, this museum offers an enriching experience. Highly recommend spending an hour or two here to appreciate Iloilo's heritage

Right across the Provincial Capitol along Bonifacio Drive, Museo Iloilo is a must-visit for first-timers. 🏺💛 It’s compact but packed with history — from pre-colonial artifacts to local art pieces. Super easy to find, and perfect for a quick but meaningful stop! I enjoyed my visit. There's a minimal fee of PhP50.

A Contemporary Museum housing Modern Arts along with Spanish – Filipino History.
It was raining when I visited and I wanted to go to the next museum beside it but I had no umbrella and the museum officer asked his staff to help me cross over by showing me the way and letting me borrow an extra umbrella. Thank you for the kind gesture guys. Great hospitality in Iloilo 😊
P50 Entrance fee.
