I had low expectations for this museum and I was pleasantly impressed by how well it was done. It had a great mix of local art as well as some ancient art fro Central America and South America. The art from the Andes was especially interesting. A good portion of the local modern art was about the immigrant community and the issues around immigration at the southern border. Appropriate to this area and a bit sad and depressing but well done without being over done.

This month they had a good exhibit and fabulous guest speaker, a photographer who captured the essence of the Punk Music Movement. This was the best event I've attended since I arrived in Tucson in April.

- 4.0/5:
Modern art museum with eclectic exhibits in a variety of spaces in a retired fire house.
The kinetic sculptures in the main exhibit were barely functioning.
This museum is listed as having reciprocal membership with NEMA museums but we were still charged. The free is small and it's good to support smaller museums but still.
