I had a wonderful stay at Park Avenue Rochester, Singapore. The hotel is peaceful, quiet, and very convenient, especially being so close to the MRT. From the moment I arrived, Mr. Ram was incredibly helpful, patiently explaining many things and making me feel welcome. Mr. Faisal at the counter also went out of his way to assist me in settling some matters with Agoda. Kudos to all the staff for their professionalism and kindness, please consider raising their salaries! 😁 Most importantly, the team was genuine and respectful, never sarcastic or dismissive towards Malaysians. Truly a delightful experience! 🫡

I came here for the first time and in general enjoyed my experience. The hotel was undergoing renovations and was noisy during the day, but being out all day, it did not affect me. The rooms were nice, but a little small. The renovations should improve the following issues: The shower leaked water onto the floor each time I used it, the bathroom layout was a bit tight, my closet slammed shut due to missing dampers, the desk space was tight, basic thing like this.
But, the breakfast was quite good and useful to start my day, the service was very responsive to my questions, the gym was sufficient,but could be open longer, a large mall is within two blocks, and the streets are not too busy with foot traffic. Also it is a ~$20 ride to the city center. Overall, I enjoyed it.

We had a fantastic check-in experience on New Year's Eve, thanks to Ram and Faiz. Ram greeted my family in the lobby with such politeness and warmth, making us feel welcome immediately.
Even though our room wasn't ready yet, Faiz was incredibly kind and thoughtful. She apologized for the wait and kept us reassured that it would be ready soon. Their exceptional hospitality turned a wait into a very pleasant start to our stay.
However, it turned for the worst during our breakfast on New Year's Day. The food is mediocre at best, and some of the food were not freshly made. But what needs immediate improvement is the hygiene standards of the restaurant. We were shocked and disgusted to find a baby cockroach crawling on my plate after placing some sliced meats and salad. A staff member was immediately informed and brushed off my feedback and tried to convince me it was a fly instead. The photo that was taken proves otherwise. Please take immediate action to improve your hygiene standards. Thank you and Happy New Year!
