This was our fourth stop during our motorcycle tour in Tagaytay. We discovered People’s Park in the Sky while exploring Google Maps, and it turned out to be a very satisfying stop.

The park sits on Mount Sungay, one of the highest points in Cavinti–Tagaytay, and was originally intended to be a rest house during the Marcos era before being converted into a public park. The location alone makes it worth the visit. The steep uphill roads, dense forest, and frequent fog create a cool, atmospheric setting that makes walking around the park enjoyable.

At the top, you’ll find souvenir shops, a small chapel, viewing areas, and a radio tower. The views, combined with the misty weather, make it a great place for walking, photography, and simply taking in the surroundings. I genuinely enjoyed exploring the area and taking photos. This stop is definitely one for the books.
Parking is manageable, with a small fee of ₱20 for parking and ₱50 for entrance.
One downside, however, is the behavior of some vendors. They tend to approach visitors even while parking and repeatedly remind you to buy from them when leaving the park, which can feel uncomfortable and intimidating.

Overall, despite the minor inconvenience, the experience was memorable. The scenery, cool climate, and historical background make People’s Park in the Sky a must-visit spot in Tagaytay.

Our visit to People’s Park in the Sky was such a peaceful and breathtaking experience. The moment we arrived, we were greeted by the cool Tagaytay breeze that gently touched our skin — it instantly made us feel relaxed and refreshed. The place truly lives up to its name, as it feels like you’re standing above the clouds. From the top, the panoramic view of Tagaytay and nearby towns was absolutely stunning, with clouds seeming to dance right before your eyes.

As we explored the park, we enjoyed walking along the pathways while taking in the scenic surroundings. The old charm of the place adds to its nostalgic and serene atmosphere, perfect for those who just want to take a break from the busy city life. The highlight of our visit was watching the sunset from above — the sky slowly turning orange and pink as the sun disappeared behind the mountains. It was a magical and picture-perfect moment.

Overall, People’s Park in the Sky is a must-visit spot in Tagaytay for its peaceful ambiance, cool weather, and breathtaking views. It’s the perfect place to relax, reflect, and appreciate nature’s beauty from the top.

People’s Park in the Sky in Tagaytay is a scenic yet modest attraction best known for its cool climate and panoramic views of Taal Lake and the surrounding area. The highlight of the place is its breathtaking view, especially on clear days, and the unique atmosphere created by the unfinished Palace in the Sky structure. However, the park feels somewhat neglected, with visible signs of aging and limited maintenance, and there are few activities aside from sightseeing and taking photos. Overall, it’s worth visiting at least once for the view and fresh air, but expectations should be kept simple.
