This is a plaza i have known all my life. Photos posted here were during the carless weekend in December where all sorts of activities were allowed since the main streets on both sides of the plaza were closed for cars and other motorized vehicles.

There is a fun and busy atmosphere here after dark. Street food stalls, live music, and free wifi. Also nearby is Ice Blinker… good halo halo and empenada.

The place is very safe and clean. There are a lot of food stalls around the area and restaurants just across the street. There is also a tricycle terminal beside the park, just be careful because some tricycle drivers will charge you way more than the usual fare if they noticed that you are a tourist. But overall experience in the park is awesome!
