Great value and convenient stay!
Red Planet Cagayan de Oro has a very convenient location, just a few minutes’ walk to SM, with shops right outside the hotel. The security guard was very helpful—he noticed our car tire was flat and assisted us right away.
The front office staff were also accommodating and helped me store my medicine. Check-in was smooth, the room was clean, and the price is very affordable. Overall, a pleasant and hassle-free stay!

The room was clean, and the shower has hot and cold water. The location is very convenient—just beside SM Downtown, especially if you have a DFA appointment.
However, the TV could not be turned off using the remote and couldn’t be unplugged, so it stayed on all night. I hope they can add a small fridge, provide utensils for guests who bring food, and offer free drinking water and a small toothpaste—similar to my experience in hotels in Thailand. Even budget hotels there usually provide these amenities.
For the price, the amenities could still be improved.

Location is great, right beside SM and at the back of many restaurants. Rooms were a bit cramped, but very very clean. Check-in process just too slow, only 1 person in the reception area. Great value for money, with only basic service. But overall satisfactory because of cleanliness 👌
