Food was really delicious! Food is on the pricier side but the servings were large and it was really good. The restaurant was being renovated during our visit so it was quite messy at some point. Better to reserve if possible since the queue can take from 20 minutes up to an hour during peak hours.

I went here to eat midnoon, and I was surprised with the meal portions. An order of cajun chicken and mozarella pockets is good for 2-3 people and it's good for its respective price. I ended up requesting for a take out of my leftovers. You can also order your pasalubong here, which is the same front the take out nook beside this establishment. The staff is also accommodating and helpful even though it's very busy because of the festive season.

Dining at Sans Rival Bistro was nothing short of outstanding. My family and I went in for dinner and every detail — from the food to the service — impressed us.

We ordered the Paella along with a few other dishes, and each one came out perfectly executed, rich with flavor, and beautifully presented. The highlight for me, though, was finally trying their iconic Silvanas (yes, the famous Sans Rival Silvanas!). One bite and I understood why it’s a Dumaguete classic—crisp, creamy, and absolutely addictive.

Despite the bistro being quite busy, the ambience was warm, inviting, and never rushed. The staff were attentive without being overbearing, striking that rare balance of genuine hospitality and efficiency.

It’s the kind of place you leave already planning your next visit. A must-experience in Dumaguete — for both first-timers and regulars who know the joy of coming back.
