Big fan of the Shangri-La chain and this hotel did not disappoint!
My family and I stayed here for One week and we enjoyed every bit of it.
Enough activities for teenagers… games, karaoke, sports etc and you are just a short tuk-tuk ride away from town.
The only feedback I have is that the spa experience could be a bit better. Beautiful spa area but our massage was underwhelming.

Shangri-La Boracay is obviously located in a beautiful, private location, but it was the resort staff who made our stay truly incredible. We had a wonderful time sailing with our sea caption, Friendel, who was friendly and attentive to our needs, helping to take lots of beautiful photos and keep our wine glasses full. He has worked with Shangri-La for 17 years and spoke highly of the resort management. I feel it's important how the resort treats its staff members, and this also impacts the service provided to guests. Throughout the remainder of our stay, Friendel continued to greet us by name in common areas of the resort and ask about our trip, making us feel extra welcome. Coming off the sailboat, I was running late for a salon appointment and I dropped my $600 Gucci sunglasses on the beach. They are my favorite pair of sunglasses and I was certain I would never see them again. However, a housekeeper named Anton turned them into security. On the beach, Warry and his colleague took care of us and served us cold beverages while one of them ran to the complete opposite side of the resort to bring me the sunglasses. At the salon, I had initially planned to only have my hair done and do my own makeup ahead of a beachfront engagement photoshoot. However, since I was running late, the stylist agreed on the spot to do both my hair and make up – and did a beautiful job at both! Finally, I enjoyed a wonderful, rejuvenating facial at the spa! After my appointment, the staff served me ginger tea with delicious dried mangoes in the hot tub, which helped me to more fully relax. The staff were attentive to every detail of our stay, creating a fun, restful, and memorable experience!

Our time at Shangri-La Boracay was amazing. It was like staying in a mythical, idyllic paradise, a hidden oasis on the island of Boracay. The venue was gorgeous. Our room was spectacular and the beds were amazingly comfortable. The staff were attentive and friendly. The food was amazing. The beach was gorgeous. To be able to walk straight from the beach into the pool and snorkel with fish, and through caves was a brilliant addition to the holiday. I attended a conference, and everything about the conference went smoothly.
In the evening, we took advantage of the free daily shuttle bus into the town. We also asked the golf cart drivers to take us to the top of the mountain, so we could walk down the path, which they were happy to do.
During our stay, my husband injured his foot. The on-site nurses at the in house medical services were exemplary. The following day, he made an appointment with a doctor, who visited the hotel and the doctor was able to deal with the injury efficiently. While the injury was unfortunate, the first class attention left us feeling stress free. We were very thankful.
