My husaband and I celebrated our 10th anniversary at Shelby Farms Park this past weekend. We drove 3 1/2 hours from Lebanon, TN to experience some of the fun, outdoor experiences that the farm offers. We brought our ebikes and hit the bike trails immediately after our arrival on Friday morning the 17th and it was just amazing! We left the park to check in our hotel room to make our 5pm dinner reservastion at the Coastal Fish Co. restaurnat and I must say even though we weren't able to get a patio table, we still eneded up with window seating which allowed us to see right out to the lake and witness the beautiful sun set. So with the ambiance and great food, we had a great anniversary celebration with professional sevice from our waiter, Bryan. Saturday, was part 2 of our SFP experience. I surprised my husband with a one private horse back ride. The weather could not have been more perfect! We were led on the trail by one of best trail leaders ever, Laura or Lady (nickname). It was our first time riding and I shared with Laura that I was "low-key" freaking out. lol! but Laura encouraged me and promised I would relax within several minutes and she was absolutely right! The ride was so peaceful and enjoyable and capped off our anniversary time at the park!

I’ve been twice so far. The first time was a date with my partner. After the first time, I started bird watching. The last time, my son and I enjoyed a day out. Just look at the beautiful photo of the sunset. We discovered an entire new section with chairs and fans. I had the best time with him.

Was visiting the area and took my dog walking every morning around the lake- very beautiful at sunrise
