A belated review for a lovely 3 night stay at Siargao Island Villas in November:
1. Staff / service – out of this world, White Lotus quality. Staff were so accommodating to every one of our needs – from the private tuk tuk shuttle around General Luna, to spraying us with bug spray when we saw bugs, to handling our luggage when we checked out. They were always super helpful!
2. Room – totally fine. Had no issues with AC or wifi, despite others' reviews.
3. Breakfast – loved the variety at breakfast every morning, both Asian and Western cuisines. Custom omelette station and homemade smoothies.
4. Beach – loved the beach access with free stand up paddle boards for rent.
5. Spa – we used the facilities every day – massage, foot massage, pedicure. All wonderful and great value!
6. Private airport transfer – we used this 4 times (as our flight was canceled and we had to go back and forth) and it was efficient, reasonably priced, and safe.
7. Storm – lastly, because this is a tropical island, you are likely to experience storms. The staff bent over backwards to make sure the floors at breakfast were dry despite the torrential rain; the next day the beach area was already restored to prestine conditions. You would have no idea there was a storm the day before.
Would highly recommend and would stay there again!

Had a scary experience at the hotel when my father went hypoglycemic, to us it looked like a stroke at the time, was a little concerned the hotel did not have a registered nurse on the premises, but they more than made up for it with the service, they really took care of us all throughout, even got a van to take us to the hospital. But besides that, the hotel itself was immaculate. Stayed at the premiere 2 villa, and the room was soooo beautiful, very instragrammable, wife was very happy. The breakfast buffet was kind of disappointing tho, the foods sometimes were kinda too heavy for a breakfast buffet. Beautiful beach front, had free paddle boards, 5/5 stars. would definitely stay there again

Indonesian restaurant also used for the breakfast buffet with Indonesian flavors, great beachfront location The beach is not really for swimming. Not a lot of locations in the GL area for that. It's all seagrass bottom. Free use of paddleboard and surf board. Plenty of loungers. Great band, awesome music wed and sat night with happy hour. Pool next to the restaurant. Gym with dumbbells and machines. Far enough from the chaos of GL but walkable if you want to party. Other restaurants nearby.
