We started our day with a 4:30PM kayak session to celebrate Father’s Day — just my dad and me in a double kayak, ready for a little outdoor fun. The weather was perfect: sunny with some cloud cover and gentle breeze. The water was calm, with clearly defined boundaries, making it both beginner-friendly and enjoyable for those with some paddling experience (like my dad, who used to dragon boat!).

But of course, adventure comes with surprises — we had an unexpected capsize mid-session! While our whistle didn’t quite reach the staff, they noticed us from the dock and were quick to respond. Their calm professionalism and attentiveness reassured us, and we were able to continue with confidence.

The team gave clear instructions and a proper safety briefing before we began, which really helped when things didn’t go as planned. They were knowledgeable, friendly, and handled everything smoothly.

Facilities were great too — lockers for our belongings, a water refill station, and a vending machine nearby. Pro tip: bring a waterproof phone pouch (trust me on this one!).

By the end of it all, my dad declared, “This should be a monthly thing.”
Safe to say, we’ll be back!

Great range of affordable facilities such as kayak rentals. It is only around $10 for 2 hours.

The view is great and makes rowing here especially enjoyable.

Had an enjoyable 2hrs kayaking with good weather, can only book on the same day and first come first serve basis, so advisable to come much earlier to be guaranteed a slot. Everyone has to be present to book, can’t book on behalf of your peers, & need to sign the indemnity form personally while making payment. In the case of bad weather, will be given credits to be utilise within 2 weeks. There are showers & lockers facilities there! Cheers =)
