This was such a wonderful experience! The musicians were so talented and played with such joy! Loved hearing Abba songs (their songs lend themselves to be played by a string quartet) as well as the Queen songs. We even had audience participation with "We will Rock You". The setting was absolutely beautiful! What an enjoyable evening! I recommend this heartily!

Four floor, South Carolina historically oriented museum. Interesting progression from prehistoric to present. I suggest grabbing one of the free maps to help you navigate the somewhat twisty turny display routes. There are two "movie" type exhibits. One, we didn't view said it was a 4D experience. The other was the planetarium and we enjoyed a presentation on the aurora borealis.

This was my first time visiting the South Carolina State Museum and I really enjoyed it. The staff were very friendly. The museum has four floors with exhibits on state history, natural history, science, and art. I especially loved the natural history and astronomy areas. The South Carolina history section was very interesting too. The art section is small but beautiful. The Science of the Sound exhibit was very informative and had many interactive activities, which are great for kids. The military museum is separate, but it can be accessed through the museum admission area. We watched a planetarium show that was fun and educational. They also offer 4D movies, but I did not have enough time to see one. I will definitely come back again.
