What a most enchanting experience!
My husband and I visited the museum on Valentine’s Day 2026.
We took a tour around the Oliver Mansion and my my my so many surprises and beauty to see! Everything from the interior design to the exterior glory was a sight to see and appreciate. We were hosted by our amazing tour guide Kenny. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and hospitable.
We ended our trip by walking around the Studebaker museum and raved about the classy and well kept cars and vehicles. There’s a lovely collection of vehicles across the decades to admire for all car enthusiasts.
By the way, the museum is CLEAN!
Even the restrooms were clean!
One of my favorite museum visits so far and that’s saying a lot because I LOVE history, antique cars, and all things vintage! 💕🫶🏾
10/10 would recommend!

Loved the museum! We’re traveling with a trailer and stayed overnight in the parking lot (thanks Harvest Host!). Great location. Quiet and exactly what we needed. Enjoyed the museum once it opened the following day. Both museums were a fantastic way to spend a couple hours.

It’s as much a story about an immigrant family named Studebäcker who came to America and first started out building Conestoga Wagons that carried many Settlers across this great land in the 1700’s. Learn how they built that company into a major modern Automobile and Vehicle manufacturer producing storied examples, mixing top technology and gorgeous design like the Avanti, Hawk and futuristic concepts like the Sceptre.
They produced some of the finest Cars in the industry, only to suffer like many others and die off in the mid 60’s.
What is forgotten is what Studebaker meant to this country, the South Bend Indiana factory once employed 26,000 workers, the company owned a major executive multi story building downtown New York and was also a producer supplier of WW 1 and 2 Tanks and Troop Vehicles as well as the production of many many products and innovations.
Folks this 3 story museum is a wonderful walk through history and it can be enjoyed by all ages. You can see it in less than 2 hours or take the “audio tour” and enjoy it in a day like we did.
