Visited on a Wednesday and was happy to find it’s free. It’s a small museum but packed with so much information, we ended up spending 2 hours here. A great stop if you love history and learning.

The Tagum City Historical and Cultural Center is where I go all the time. It has a theatre as well as a museum, but the best part of it all is its library. The library is frequented by many college students from Tagum City because of its ambience and atmosphere perfectly conducive to studying. One of the best features of the library is that it has different areas designed according to the comfort and needs of the students—there is a room for students who need pure focus, and there are also collaborative rooms which allow for active discussions. I like the library here, and I recommend it to all students looking for the best place to study.

All the memories I have here a decade ago feels like yesterday. I used to live here circa 2014-2017 in Mankilam, and Apokon. All the experiences I had here shaped me to who I am now. Even the names of the people I have known here are something I will never forget.
With that being said, I came back here just December of 2024 – spent 3 days roaming around – just to have a glimpse of the new face of this city. It’s been a decade but…
What happens in Tagum remains in Tagum.
