The hotel to stay at in NOLA! Within walking distance to the French quarter and garden district. Not too far from the party but quiet enough to sleep amazingly. I was impressed with how stylish the rooms were, everything about the hotel including its restaurants were beautiful. Definitely enjoyed the popcorn happy hour. Keep in mind you do have to pay for valet but you won’t really need your car. Amazing service! I wish I would’ve asked for more of the complimentary amenities.

Currently in bed here now, the morning of checkout, after a 2 day stay. I absolutely LOVE this hotel. The location is perfect. It's right on the streetcar line which makes getting around town so much easier. We didn't use our vehicle at all while here.
The staff, so nice. The valet guys, the front desk staff, the bartenders…all so cheerful and kind and really wonderful.
The hotel…BEAUTIFUL. Better than expected, the pictures don't do it justice. It's gorgeous. It's got dark and moody and vintage but modern vibes. I really like it. Great art too. Tastefully done. Even the lighting fixtures are unique and cool. My favorite part, a comfy bed. It has light up motion sensors in the base! Very cool. The black tile shower, really awesome. Great view as we face the street.
Fully stocked mini bar options and drinks-with a price list. They even have a instant tea Kettle!
The prices were really fair for the room as well. Overall 5/5 plus more. This will be my spot to stay every time we come to New Orleans.

Fun extra note- apparently the bar/club here downstairs is very popular. On Halloween night it was so packed and there was a huge costume party. Not just guests of the hotel, but anyone and it was neat.

I don’t often leave reviews, but this one felt important. I am a Hyatt Globalist. Whenever I stay at a Hyatt property, I try to see how they treat globalists on the reviews. All I could find was negative feedback from globalists. I will say, management has listened and made changes. I also think some construction ongoing was hindering the experience. That construction is now done and the experience was better than on par for a globalist.
    1. I was greeted and provided waters in the room.
    2. I was given bonus points on a pinwheel when we arrived. I haven’t seen those hit my account, but I expect to see them after the stag closes.
    3. Breakfast was open on the weekdays in the restaurant!!! This was a big plus as this was not the case previously.
    4. They do have a welcome drink, but it was extremely busy when we arrived and they were out. They were also out of their daily popcorn.
    5. We were upgraded to a deluxe room which was more spacious than a regular room. Only complaint on the room was the floors had a few noticeable dust bunnies.
    6. The staff was very kind and attentive. They accommodated us very well!
    7. Rooftop pool is nice. Fitness room is nice. Trolly pass is nice!
    8. Very walkable to anywhere.

My expectations were low and were exceeded!
