Fantastic garden! Worth the day trip as a date with your partner, your parents or your kids — fun for all ages and group sizes.

🕣 Time spent: 2 hours (not including snack breaks or lunch onsite)

The grounds were BEAUTIFUL! Carefully curated and manicured. Walking along the different areas was fun and the most breathtaking part was the conservatory — the 3 different climates housed in there was incredible and the size of the trees, you know they have been in there happy and healthy!

☕️ We even stopped for a food demo at the herb garden and were pleasantly surprised. The chef hosting that day was hilarious and knowledgeable — she had a great personality and taught us about eating (rather, drinking) fig leaf tea!

☀️ Time of year to visit: We unfortunately came at an in between while visiting Atlanta in which they just closed the Alice in Wonderland installation and were building the fall pumpkin themed area — which was closed to the public.

It would have been nice is the tickets were discounted since part of the grounds were not accessible during the installation process.

🕐 Wait time: We visited at opening 9 am on a Sunday in late September. The line was minimal (10 min) and the grounds were at a comfortable business. The later in the day around 12, the crowds and lines were definitely more noticeable.

I loved my visit to the Atlanta Botanical Garden! It’s a large and beautiful place to walk around and explore. Depending on the season you visit, you’ll get a different experience. I went during Halloween, and everything was perfectly themed for fall — such a lovely atmosphere!

One of my favorite parts was the Fuqua Orchid Center, absolutely stunning! Still, every area of the garden is worth admiring — the flowers, trees, and plants from so many different species make it a magical place. If you’re lucky, you might even spot some frogs in one of the sections!

It’s a wonderful and family-friendly spot to enjoy nature and relax. I truly recommend it! 🌸🌳🍁
    Also I’m visiting from Florida.

First time here. Came on a Tuesday around 11am. Mildly busy. There were a lot of leaf blowers running at first and workers everywhere but other than that it was peaceful. It cost $60 for two adults and $17 to park for 5 hours. We spent about 3 hours there. The indoor collections of orchids, plants and trees were our favorite part. Great water features. Overall nice garden. We would get a membership pass if we lived in the area.
