A great place to be to spend an exciting weekend. Views from the Federal Hill park on the hill is amazing. You can watch the entire Baltimore from there. A very relaxing place to be. If you like a boat ride, it is right here. Restaurants like Cheese cake factory, and other fastfood locations all in one place. Ships are displayed at various locations. Ships who participated in world wars are also placed for for history enthusiasts. There usually will be some musicians playing at a staged location. Lots of sea birds to watch. Ideal location for photographers as well. There is a children's science museum for kids to enjoy. A large play ground for children and a number of volleyball courts for sports enthusiasts.

We went last Sunday with our dog. Since it was summer, the weather was humid and extremely hot from noon (which was fine since we came prepared and brought bottled water and an umbrella). I saw only a few people who were walking with their dogs. I was worried maybe a lot of restrictions if you brought your dogs with you. It was a bit struggle to dine in since they only accept service dogs in any restaurants or fast food. This is just FYI to those who own a pet. We managed to have our lunch since there is a cafe with an outdoor sitting area and we ordered take-away food from Popeye and had our lunch. We will surely be back to experience their Famous Seafood Restaurants.

We really enjoyed the vibe of the Inner Harbor. It was lively, festive, and full of energy. Kids loved the walk, especially with ice cream in hand.
However, a few things took away from the experience. Cyclists were riding recklessly through pedestrian areas, and one person was even doing a wheelie without a front wheel which was completely unsafe and inconsiderate.
Another concern was the strong smell of weed in areas where families and children were gathered, especially near the park by the science center. It's disappointing to see that kind of behavior in what should be a family-friendly space.
