Amazing but not for everyone! I’ve been involved with BAA professionally on and off for the past 20+ years, and now a very proud parent! Every org has its ups and downs but the resources, people and opportunities abound here in the heart of Boston’s incredibly vibrant community. Ask not what your school can do for you, ask what you can do for your school. Cheers

Boston Arts Academy seriously fails to listen to its students. The school claims to support young artists, but the reality is the complete opposite. Teachers and staff often show little understanding of how difficult it is to balance demanding art majors with heavy academic workloads. Instead of encouraging creativity, the environment ends up crushing it. Students constantly feel unheard, overworked, and undervalued. The mental health support is practically nonexistent, and the pressure from both sides arts and academics is overwhelming. This school doesn’t nurture artists; it burns them out.
