Attended the USPS First Day Issue of the Jimmy Carter stamp on the occasion of his 101st birthday. The venue was most befitting our 39th president. The USPS issued ceremonial programs, pins, and sold first day postal items for cancellation.

I was privileged to visit this lovely place when President Carter's body was in Repose. No wait, Very much respect for a president, and thrilled that I got to attend this event. I will be back to go through the Carter Center and learn move about the Carter family history. A very moving event causing the desire to see more respect for dignitaries and others in general in this wonderful county we live in! God Bless America

Another peaceful tranquil walk with the beautifully kept gardens here. Great place to forget any troubles one may feel another great morning walk around the memorial lake here.
The market day is one of my favorite times every Sat morning and it very kids and leashed dogs friendly too.
