We visited the Denver Botanic Gardens with the whole family on Sunday at 11 a.m. The day was lovely with nice, quite warm weather. There were no spots in the outdoor parking lot, so we waited a little for someone to leave.
The autumn garden deserves special attention. The atmosphere is very peaceful and calming. It reminds us of our native home. The beautiful scents of flowers and autumn leaves, in harmony with the smell of moisture from the local ponds and fountains, truly delight the heart.
Some parts of the garden are closed due to ongoing work for Halloween preparations.
We were very happy to have the opportunity to grab a quick bite at the local bistro. We really enjoyed their Hive Burgers.
I recommend visiting the Botanic Gardens in all seasons. It is always beautiful in its own unique way.

Beautiful place for an all day exploration. If you're looking for a peaceful day in nature to explore a variety of plant species, Botanical Gardens is the one. There are indoor and outdoor options along with areas for a variety of events. The Gardens is very kid friendly. Visit them during a plant sale for free entry and reasonably priced plant sales! Dont forget to go inside and check out their art exhibits!!

The Denver Botanic Gardens is breathtaking—lush, expansive, and beautifully designed. Every path reveals something new, from vibrant flower beds to serene water features. I loved wandering through diverse themed gardens, each more stunning than the last. It’s peaceful, inspiring, and a must-visit for nature lovers and photography enthusiasts alike.
Larger than we anticipated! There’s also an art exhibit indoors! Plan to spend a few hours!!
