After having to wait a while due to cancellations we eventually attended on Saturday morning. It was a family Xmas present and although the weather was a little unpleasant we had fantastic time. Jack ( the MD) had been really helpful when we had to rearrange our initial visit some 12 months previous. He was waiting there to greet us a long with his staff when we arrived and provided hot drinks prior to us getting started. After about 10 minutes he came across to take us two our first activity the clay pigeon shoot. It was about a five minute trek through the forest to a safe area to shoot. He was really informative and gave us confidence in our abilities to shoot the clays. From there another instructor came to take us to the archery area and once again we were given great instruction finally followed by the axe throwing instructor for a final activity. We had a coffee in between to warm us up which was great. All events were scored which was great as we are quite a competitive family. As the one older member of the family I think the children should have let me me win so we won’t talk about the scores😂😂. In all a great day was had by all and the first comments after were when can we go back🙂.

Booking was really easy and when needing to question anything, response was very quick. Tabitha was our instructor for archery and she was great from start to finish. Would highly recommend and will be back for other activities 😊

I wanted to book something different for my husbands birthday and as we were on holiday in Welshpool, I found this activity perfect. I booked the activities online and paid a deposit. The activity centre was easy to find and had ample parking. We signed in then made our way down to the archery and sniper shooting area. We met Abi our trainer and two other guests at the archery and then the five of us went to the sniper shooting area. Abi explained how to use the gun and about the different targets we were going to shoot at. We had a lot of fun learning to use the gun and shooting at the targets. There was little competitions between the group which made it more fun. After the sniper shooting, the other two guests had finished their day at the centre and my husband and I moved onto archery. My husband had done archery before at different centres but this was my first go at archery. The archery was also a lot of fun and Abi was a great teacher. Thank you again Abi for a fabulous day out and teaching us how to shoot and teaching me how to do archery.
