Our first stay with Mint – what a fantastic experience! We were greeted by a pleasant, professional woman named Sardia who gave us upgrade without us even asking. As a result, we stayed in one their largest rooms which also included a washer and dryer. Not a hotel, not a VRBO. Cozy, spotless, light-filled, modern apartments with front desk management and 24×7 security for less money than a similar quality hotel. Great location in DC! We travel a lot, and this was one of our best-ever lodging experiences. Will certainly be looking to rent with Mint again!

I highly recommend the Mint House! This was our first stay, and we’ll definitely be returning for future DC trips. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the overall experience was excellent.

The room itself was fantastic — beautifully designed, spotless, and comfortable. The in-room kitchenette was a huge bonus and well stocked with everything we needed. We stayed here as 2 adults and 2 kids, and the space met our needs and exceeded expectations. We’re so glad we found this hotel and are already looking forward to staying here again!

For anyone driving, here’s a quick note on parking that might be helpful. While the confirmation email includes a link to the recommended parking garage, the information wasn't entirely clear ahead of time. I researched a few nearby decks (many had mixed to poor reviews), but after chatting with the front desk team at check-in, we followed their advice and parked at 1110 Vermont Ave NW. If you park there, be sure to take your ticket with you. You’ll need it to open the gate if it’s closed when you return on foot. The posted max rate was $20 per day, and we paid $33 total for two nights, which worked out well.

My stay at Mint House in Washington, D.C. was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. The location couldn’t be more perfect,right in the heart of the city, walking distance to great restaurants, coffee shops, and major attractions. The building itself was secure, modern, and spotless.

The apartment felt like home the moment I walked in. It was beautifully furnished, spacious, and equipped with everything I needed full kitchen, washer/dryer, fast Wi-Fi, and comfortable bedding. Every detail was thoughtfully curated for comfort and convenience.

Check-in was a breeze with clear instructions and digital access (no waiting around for keys!). The Mint House staff were also incredibly responsive and professional quick to answer questions and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure I was comfortable. Whether you’re visiting for business or leisure, Mint House sets a new standard for hospitality. It’s like having a luxury apartment with the service and polish of a high-end hotel. I’ll definitely be staying here again next time I’m in D.C.!
