I recently had the pleasure of staying at Fairmont San Francisco, and I must say it was an absolutely outstanding experience from start to finish. The hotel itself is magnificent – from the elegant lobby to the beautifully appointed rooms and meal complimentary.

What truly made our stay memorable was the exceptional service. The professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine warmth went above and beyond our expectations. The staff was incredibly attentive to our needs, always greeting us with a smile, and made us feel truly valued as guests. The caring, efficient, and personable approach made every interaction a pleasure.

    Five stars without hesitation!

I spent three nights at the Fairmont San Francisco, and it was absolutely lovely from start to finish. My room had a beautiful view overlooking the bay — the kind of view that makes you stop and take it all in every time you walk in. The room was spacious, elegant, and comfortable, with thoughtful touches that made it feel both luxurious and inviting.

The staff were warm and attentive throughout my stay, always greeting me with a smile and going out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. The hotel itself is a classic — rich with history and charm — yet it still feels fresh and vibrant.

Between the impeccable service, the stunning location atop Nob Hill, and that incredible bay view, the Fairmont made my San Francisco visit truly memorable. I can’t wait to return.

Searching for a hotel in San Francisco can feel overwhelming—especially when your last visit was back when the Presidio was still an active Army base. On that trip, we stayed on-post with my uncle, who was an officer at the time. This time around, it didn’t take long for us to settle on the Fairmont, and it turned out to be the perfect choice.
We’re drawn to historic properties, and the Fairmont’s rich legacy was right up our alley. For my birthday, I secretly upgraded our room to the Signature Skyline Corner View King, surprising my wife with absolutely breathtaking views of the city. The room was a beautiful blend of elegance and modern comfort, complete with a spacious bathroom and a shower built for two.
We made a point to explore the hotel itself—peeking into the grand ballrooms and conference spaces, soaking in every detail of the Hall of History, and enjoying a quiet drink in the serene outdoor garden. The lobby, famously featured in several films, carries an air of timeless glamour. Nearly every U.S. President since 1907 has stayed at the Fairmont, and that legacy of excellence is reflected in their impeccable service. We truly felt pampered from start to finish.
With all fees included, we paid just over $700 per night for our three-day stay—and it was worth every penny. Now that we have family working in the area, we’re already looking forward to making this an annual tradition.
