Every year, we make a trip to San Antonio to celebrate Día de los Muertos, and without fail, the Fairmount Hotel makes it a truly unforgettable experience. This year, Sarah went above and beyond, making us feel like family. She checked in on us multiple times, ensuring we had everything we needed and more. Her kindness and attention to detail were truly appreciated.
The bartender (I wish I could remember her name!) was also wonderful—she took such great care of us and even made sure we had a cozy spot by the bar as we enjoyed a delicious meal from Nonna. The service was impeccable, and we felt so welcomed and pampered throughout our stay.
The Fairmount Hotel continues to be our home away from home, and we’ll be returning year after year. Room 312 was just perfect, with beautiful views and all the little touches that make it special. Thank you to the entire team at the Fairmount for another amazing weekend. We highly recommend this beautiful hotel!

Small property, well located. Beautiful decoration. people are very friendly, Sarah in the front desk is so nice. Sam at the restaurant is a charming man. Loved my stay
Took off one star bc the bed was really hot, it’s hard to setup the AC in the room, the first night the AC was not working properly, it was miserable to wake up in sweat a few times a night.

Nice old hotel located in downtown San Antonio. Veryninteresting history as the entire building was moved back in the 1980s.
Outstanding service & great skyline view from the rooftop bar.
Comfy bed with a nice shower. Lot of ambient light in the room, though. Morons revving their engines nearby at early morning hours made slumber somewhat difficult.
Great hotel & worth a visit, though!
