Foundry district describes an area in an old industrial nexus of Fort Worth, not one place as best as I can tell. Filling with small breweries, eateries and other businesses, but it has a way to go. Maple Branch is my fav brew house with excellent Pizza but there are many other worthy bars and eateries. If you like Wine I’d recommend Salute Wine Bar. A vintage record shop. Did I mention whiskey? There are also two spas, and you can even get your foreign car repaired at any one of perhaps 8 different businesses. Like I said – The Foundry District is in transition. Youthful vibe with grocery and box stores and plenty of housing options in the mix.

I dig it. The idea of displaying some public art is a wonderful thing. You're going to find some murals on the walls of inspiration alley and also on the back of a building for Craftwork Coffee. I just loaded about 20 pics. Very cool spot to gets some pictures taken…bring your friends and family or whoever. I found myself smiling… probably just to know this spot is here.

It's like shrinking down and stepping into an art gallery filled with the 'who's who' of this City's art scene, so it's fitting they just added a mural inspired by Alice in Wonderland. Awesome mom and pop retail, great outdoor event space, and plenty of exciting things on the horizon (art house theater, distillery). Come for the photo ops and stay for the vintage record store, awesome burgers, hyper local boutiques, etc.
