Such a beautiful spot in Houston! It makes the perfect backdrop for portraits and intimate moments. I captured one of my favorite images here recently, and it truly shows how magical the light and architecture can be. If you’re ever looking for a photographer to capture memories in spaces like this, I’d love to connect!

The perfect beautiful courthouse for a wedding–and plenty of great spots for photos afterwards right outside.

I visited the courthouse with a few friends and we took a self-guided tour. If you're planning to visit, be prepared to go through metal detectors. The onsite officers were very polite and gave us some pointers of where we could go and where we couldn't. Another officer, who appeared to be a constable and not the regular onsite officers was very rude and confrontational. He kept insisting that we couldn't take a tour even though it's listed on the website and the other officers who work there regularly had already told us we could in fact take a tour. The constable seemed more interested in creating conflict and tension for absolutely no reason. I'm someone who FULLY supports the blue but this guy was just simply out of line. Aside from that, we did tour the 6th floor, ground floor and 2nd floor, which are the standard floors you are allowed to visit. You can still see quite a bit of the character from the original building even though some of it was updated.
