1st time going to The Howard Theater and I’m compelled to spread the word of what a great venue it is. The staff are all extremely nice and helpful. And they’re actually staffed properly behind the bar so it’s quick and easy to get a drink. You can order food at the bar from the brewery next door (but don’t expect it to be turned around quickly, my chicken tenders took an hour). The acoustics are top notch. I just really enjoyed the show I saw there. Also, the whole area around it is vibrant with bars and cafes.

Beautiful Place for Concerts! It was my first at The Howard Theater! Went to see The Sons of the east concerts! Loved it. Stuffs were helpful. Floor, Upstairs and The booths were very comfortable!

This is a great little venue located close to the Shaw / Howard University metro stop. Not very large but I dont think there's a bad seat in the house. Floor seating was foldable wooden chairs so nothing luxurious but functional. Food is available on site and they have a well stocked bar with pretty standard drink pricing. We went to see an amateur ballet production and had a great time overall. I would definitely go back for other music or stage shows.
