The Landing Park is so different since the actual Landing is gone. Even though it has been removed permanently, this is a spot to take great photos. Also, your family will have a perfect outing of walking. I think noticed there were scooters to ride on as well. So, make a day out at the Landing Park with health and fitness in mind.

The staff of this hotel are the most accommodating and kind people! Everyone went out of their way to talk with us, give extra soap and shampoo, and offer directions and info about the surrounding area. Rambo was a charmer! The front desk manager was so positive and clearly loved her job. It's nice to stay at a place where staff is happy. Our waitress, Ezzy, has been there for 22 years and her son works there now also. That says a lot to want to work anywhere that long.

Came here several times since The Landings was demolished. All for events. Yesterday was the bicentennial celebration's. It was fun. Good concerts. Food vendors on site, porta potties available, and fireworks were amazing. If you plan on coming here bring a blanket to sit on, maybe some chairs. And if it's during the day an umbrella 🏖️ for rain/sun. You can also pack your own food and bring it. Kid friendly as my son was running around.
