Always a wonderful time three floors of tons of fun stuff to do. Perfect to wear your little ones out or for curious older ones. We absolutely love the science center! From the noodles, the climbing wall, the ups truck, the grocery, splash table. Everything is typically well kept and tidy. Very busy place since it's downtown.

The Kentucky Science Center in downtown Louisville is truly one of the best places to explore science with kids and family. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the excitement of learning mixed with fun. There are three floors filled with interactive exhibits that keep children and adults engaged for hours. My kids especially enjoyed the hands-on areas where they could build, test, and experiment. It’s not only entertaining but also educational in a way that sparks curiosity.
The staff members are friendly, helpful, and very patient with children. They make the experience even smoother by answering questions and guiding families through the exhibits. Another highlight is the IMAX theater, which adds a whole new level of excitement to the visit.
Parking is convenient, located on the back side under the bridge, and members can park all day for only $8, which is very reasonable for downtown. One of the most amazing things is that if you have WIC benefits, the Kentucky Science Center offers a free family membership plan, making science accessible to more families. Overall, this is a must-visit spot in Louisville for learning, fun, and family bonding. Highly recommended!

This place is expensive but awesome. There are so many learning areas for different ages and themes. The UPS Truck was a huge hit with the kids. I felt like the small toddler area needed some updating and a good cleaning but the activities were varied and fun. The grocery area seemed to be very popular. I am not sure how you could keep all of those items sorted and clean. Maybe in the store’s checkout area there could be sorting opportunities. As an adult I loved the upstairs area about personalties, traits, feelings, etc.
