Had a great tour and conversation with guide, James Pope.

This was my first time going and it was nice to actually get to see the inside of the house. It's much bigger than what I thought it would be. And it is free but they do ask of a 2 dollar per person donation. Which is not bad at all. And it goes toward a good cause.

Must see! Well preserved historical home in Newport News. Interesting history and special exhibits housed in this home owned by a black lawyer in the late 1800's/early 1900's.
