I spent a very comfortable two nights here, and could have stayed longer. Lovely room, very quiet, good bed, and an adequate breakfast. (I brought my own cafetiere, so enjoyed a good coffee in my room prior to breakfast.). Staff very helpful, and went out of their way with advice etc.. The location is perfect, with some wonderful walking, despite the rain. Look forward to next visit.

Had a lovely 2 night stay at the Old Mill Lodge. Rooms were clean, modern and comfortable. Staff were fantastic, especially Ellie and a new chap who you’d think had been working there for years. They couldn’t do enough. We’re so helpful and friendly! Would recommend this hotel to all

I have given this hotel high ratings based on value for money. My wife and I booked a basic double room for 2 nights at a cost of £163, this included breakfast. We stayed in the main hotel, room 126, it was small and had faults (leaking shower head, curtain part hanging off the rail) however the bed was very comfortable. Continental breakfast was fine, the breakfast room and adjoining decking overlooking the river and working water wheel was lovely.
The hotel definitely needs updating however they would then need to increase their rates. At the price we paid it was absolutely fine, if we wish to stay in a more refined hotel next time we will increase our budget accordingly.
I would encourage guests to walk along the canal towpath into the centre of Bath, this is approximately 2.5 miles.
