A Home Away from Home – Amazing Stay at Jlea’s Place!
We rented a unit via AirBnb and stay at Jlea’s place last January was truly a fantastic experience! From the very beginning, communication was excellent. Jlea was incredibly responsive, answering all our inquiries promptly and accommodating all our requests. Even before we arrived, we already felt well taken care of, as everything was clearly communicated, from check-in instructions to small details about the unit.
We were a group of five, and from the moment we arrived, everything was smooth. We received clear instructions regarding parking, which made things hassle-free. Upon reaching the unit, we were warmly welcomed and given a rundown of important details. One thing we really appreciated was how the hosts took the time to explain certain things, such as the water system, which is good to know beforehand.
The cleanliness of the unit was top-notch—it was spotless and well-maintained. The space was well-designed, making it feel cozy yet functional. While the unit is average, it is thoughtfully arranged to maximize comfort. There’s a small balcony where we enjoyed fresh air, and we also took advantage of the rooftop area, which offered a nice view—perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or just relaxing in the evening.
Now, let’s talk about the kitchen—this was one of the biggest highlights for us! It was fully stocked with absolutely everything we needed. From basic essentials like cutlery, plates, bowls, and glasses to cooking must-haves like pots, pans, knives, and even a mini oven and microwave—it had it all! We were pleasantly surprised to find that they even provided cooking oil, dishwashing soap, and a coffee and tea station. Having filtered water available in the unit was another thoughtful touch that made our stay even more convenient.
The bathroom was well-equipped, with fresh towels, dental kits, and even slippers for each guest—such a nice touch! The standing shower had hot water, which was great, especially after a long day of exploring Baguio. However, if I had to suggest one small improvement, it would be to include shampoo and conditioner—I know people have their personal preferences, but having them available would be a nice extra touch.
Another thing we loved was that the unit had Netflix! After a full day of sightseeing and adventures, it was such a treat to be able to relax and watch movies before bed. The WiFi connection was stable, which was a huge plus, as we were able to stay connected throughout our stay.
Everything about our stay was great, though we did encounter a small issue with the water heater on our last day. Even after following the instructions, it didn’t seem to work properly. However, the hosts informed us beforehand that the water system in the building functions that way, so it wasn’t something they could control. While it was a minor inconvenience, it didn’t take away from our overall experience.
All in all, we had an amazing stay at Jlea’s place. The thoughtful amenities, cleanliness, and warm hospitality made it such a comfortable and enjoyable experience. It’s the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring Baguio. We highly recommend staying here and would love to book this unit again in the future.
