The Stifel is an absolutley Breathtaking place to see any artist you love. The Venu is so gorgeous inside and out and the sound quality is crisp and clean.
I saw Sierra Farrel and it was a wonderful time, my downsides would be that the Mezz seating up top is quite cramped and the chairs are tiny, this is average for an older opra house/theater but these chairs seemed VERY tight. If you have back problems like me or are a larger person you may consider floor or side box seating where larger rows and chairs may be available.
The area is questionable for young kids and girls so if you are walking to a parking garage or hotel travel in a group with close friends and concert goers.
As for parking the venu and most hotels do not include or provide parking lots, expect to pay atleast $2 per hour for street or parking garage parking.
All together this trip was great and so worth it, I will be seeing more shows at the Stifel for years to come

Saturday night was a treat for me. My wife presented an early birthday present. She gave me tickets to Diana Krall at Stifel Auditorium. This venue is a small, intimate theatre setting perfect for Diana Krall, a jazz pianist and singer, along with her bass player and percussionist. Ms. Krall spoke of getting her start at Jazz at the Bistro here in St. Louis early on in her career. She attributed her singing style with influences from Nat King Cole and from Tony Bennett, whom she played piano for a few years. Her singing style presents similar "Bennett " vibes as she sings slowly with jazzy overtones. This was a quiet, intimate night of soft jazz with a warm, fuzzy atmosphere, leaving you wanting more. The performance was a little over 90 minutes with one song encore. Try to catch Ms. Krall's show next time she is in the area. You will not regret it.

Beautiful theater in a great city! We specifically came to STL for Dropout Improv, and it was totally worth the drive from Kansas City.
