The Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) is one of the best cultural attractions in the city, offering a stunning collection of contemporary and modern art in a beautiful waterfront location. The architecture of the building itself is a work of art, with open spaces, hanging gardens, and panoramic views of Biscayne Bay.
Inside, the galleries feature rotating exhibitions and permanent collections that highlight artists from around the world, with a strong focus on Latin American and Caribbean art. It’s the perfect place to spend a few hours exploring, reflecting, and enjoying Miami’s vibrant art scene.
A highlight of the visit is the fantastic on-site café, which offers fresh, delicious food with both indoor and outdoor seating overlooking the water. It’s the perfect spot to take a break during your museum visit.

We had an exceptional time at the Pérez Art Museum Miami. The architecture is stunning, right on Biscayne Bay, with beautiful outdoor spaces. The museum offers a perfect mix of vibrant, colorful art and thought-provoking works exploring diverse cultures. It’s also great to relax with a coffee at the in-house café while enjoying the view. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Miami!

This is a very beautiful newer museum on an extraordinarily attractive piece of land between the downtown skyline and the water
It’s got a lot of exhibition space. The permanent collections upstairs are relatively small, and the rotating exhibits throughout the building are a larger percentage of the overall space.
I took a whole bunch of photos of the exhibits to give you a sense of what you might see when you come here.
The number of modern and contemporary big names is pretty small and there’s lots of emerging and new artists. So if that is what you’re hunting for, you’ll find that here in spades.
If you’re expecting a lot of “early “modern from 1890 through 1950, you won’t find much —all depends on what you want
