Super cool if you go when they open around 11:00 and just go to the bar which has full seating and you can order food there too instead of the restaurant proper. Definitely appealing if you want to roll in and avoid the crowds and hassle.
The food selection was pretty awesome, the portions were good. The cocktails were great. And of course I love the vibe and the decor.
Highly recommend you go on a weekday when they open. Especially in the off-season.

Atmosphere: right in the middle of Balboa Park. Very clean and open. We were able to walk in and open seating with no wait.
Staff: everyone was friendly. The waiter went over the top to take care of us. Excellent service!
Food: Ceasar salad was perfect. The croutons were large and lightly seasoned. The burger was cooked perfectly. The buns were great. Fries had good flavor.
Highly recommend this place!

Today we continued our vacation visit with our family in town and after visiting the zoo we headed out to your restaurant. What a treat with gin and tonic fr the women and one man Stone Buena Vera lager and I had Karl’s Stauss Red Lager, starting Spicy calamari Fries and our dinners included 2 with Mahi Mahi sandwiches, a Chicken Caesar Salad and I had the beef Torta. The food was great and the atmosphere was fun and nice for us.
