The staff were friendly, rooms cleanly, and other guests were also pretty chill. I went through visit a friend and didn't know the rooms are sound proof. It was so quiet. At least around us 😜 lol. Overall great experience and I can't wait to go back 🤭.

It's an OK hotel. Not a dive and they try to keep it contemporary for a retro building. Grounds are kept really nicely and the vegetation is pleasant. Center of the city of Phoenix. Light rail is reasonable to get to, Safeway is a pleasant walk of maybe 5 min. Try the Lix ice cream counter, SE corner 7th Ave and Osborn, not cheap but you will fully appreciate the homemade quality and flavors . Nice neighborhood to stroll in.

This hotel is very basic but kind of run down. It was clean and seemed safe. The location was convenient. The room was a good size and clean but the remote for the AC and tv did not work. My evening check is was pleasant, the desk person was nice and helpful. The next morning when I told the desk that my AC remote and TV remote did not work, she barely acknowledged me and certainly did not smile, however both were working when I returned later. The free breakfast is kind of a joke.
If you are looking for a budget hotel with no frills, this is the place. I am surprised that it got 4 stars but I am giving it 3 stars.
