I gave it five stars but it really depends on what you are looking for. If you're looking for a modern place without much character then this isn't the place you want to go. This building is around 150 years old and is really interesting! I'm including pictures of the room because there are already enough pictures of the common areas. The place was really clean and the people were very professional. I had dinner at the grill alone and the food was good. The service was excellent.

I'd give Alta Club 10/5 if I could! Can't say enough good things. Spacious, well appointed rooms with all the amenities plus some (a flashlight in the bathroom). Great, friendly staff. Billiards room, bar and grill, and a fitness center. The club is also centrally located in downtown. But most importantly, it's about the charm and history… It's been here since the late 1800s and was founded by miners who wanted a place to drink and socialize in town. We learned about all this from the staff. Highly recommend the Alta Club and looking forward to coming back!
